2010 Hop-A-Thon Program
The MDA Hop-a-Thon Program is an educational special event for preschool through second-grade children at day-care centers, preschools and elementary schools. The program offers a week-long disability awareness lesson plan; hands-on activities for the children with books and a video; and other free educational materials. Disability Awareness Week is April 12th through April 16th. If your educational center or daycare is interested in participating in Hop-A-Thon, please give Sabrina a call at 276-2131.
2010 Stride & Ride
Stride & Ride is an indoor mall walk taking place at the Mall At Sears on Saturday, April 17th. Form a team today (5 people including yourself) by calling Sabrina at MDA at 276-2131. This event promises to be a fun event for a great cause! We ask that you, as a Team Captain, recruit at least four other people to participate on your team. Your team will join all of our other teams as we walk one mile together as part of the MDA family to raise money to help fight neuromuscular diseases. The Mall at Sears will provide a great indoor location to Stride & Ride for all our participants. Call us today to get started!
