The Alaska Chapter of the Muscular Dystrophy Association is proud to announce it’s annual gala event, “An Affair to Remember”. You can be a part of this memorable evening at the Sheraton Anchorage Hotel in the Howard Rock ballroom on Saturday, January 30, 2010. Join us as we honor Dr. Dion Roberts for his years of dedicated service to our clients and the people of Alaska. A cocktail reception will begin at 6:00 p.m., followed by dinner at 7:30 p.m.. Activities include dinner, dancing, a live and silent auction and much, much more!
Tickets are available by CLICKING HERE. MDA staff will call you and confirm your ticket purchase. Your tickets will be held at will call at check in the evening of the event. Tickets are $75 per person of $100 per couple in advance. Tickets will be $100 a piece at the door.

On November 1, 2009 members of the National Association of Letter Carriers across Alaska and the Nation will join together to “Deliver the Cure” for muscle wasting diseases. Anchorage Local 4319 will hold their Second Annual Bowl-a-Thon to benefit MDA Alaska at Jewel Lake Bowl starting at 10 am. And Fairbanks Local 4491 will join in the fun with their First Annual Bowl-a-Thon at Arctic Bowl started at 1 pm.
